Penguins Palace is an independent swim school offering engaging swimming lessons for children and adults of all abilities. Founded in 2021, the school is run by qualified ASA and STA instructors who focus on building confidence, improving technique, and creating a fun learning environment in the water. Lessons are delivered in small groups of up to four swimmers, allowing for personalised instruction and greater time in the pool. Penguins Palace provides tailored lesson plans, progress assessments, and supportive coaching to help swimmers develop their skills. Based in London, the school aims to create a welcoming community while helping students of all ages learn to swim safely and effectively.
For Penguins Palace, an independent swim school, I produced two films that celebrate the community and ethos of the organisation. The first is a documentary insight piece that explores the teaching philosophy, environment, and impact the swim school has on its students and families. The second project is a creative film marking the organisation’s three-year anniversary. Presented as a spoken-word piece and narrated by the young swimmers themselves, the film captures the joy, confidence, and sense of achievement that swimming brings to the children. Together, these films aim to highlight Penguins Palace’s supportive approach while showcasing authentic voices from within the swim school community.
